ProMelt Controls are designed to improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of electric snow melting systems. ProMelt sensors detect the presence of snow or ice, allowing the control to start the system when needed. Control options include fully automatic start and stop operation or automatic start with a timed melt duration.
THREE OPERATING MODES - With three operating modes, the SunTouch ProMelt Snow Sensor allows for automatic, manual, or standby operation.
POLE-MOUNTED - Designed to work with ProMelt Series Snow Melt Mats and Cables, this 120/208/240 volt sensor is pole-mounted to the sky and elements.
ACTIVATE AUTOMATICALLY - With a fixed moisture sensor, this unit reliably detects rain and snow and can activate automatically.
RAIN AND SNOW DETECTION - When the sensor detects precipitation and low-temperatures it can automatically activate ProMelt mats or cables.
PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY - ProMelt Series Mats and ProMelt Series Cables
PRECAUTIONS - It cannot be used in conjunction with Contactor Pro Series relay panels.
