WarmWire HeatMatrix uncoupling membranes are waterproof underlay pads that provide a fast, easy method of installing WarmWire heating cables for an electric floor heating system under any type of tiles. Protects tile investment by minimizing stress caused by lateral, multi-directional movement within the substrate, which is a common cause of cracked tiles. Suitable for below-grade installations.
PROVIDES SIMPLE ADJUSTMENT OF WARMWIRE SPACING - Provides simple adjustment of WarmWire spacing to match varying heating requirements with the flexibility to adjust the underlayment for 2, 3, and 4-shape spacing.
POLYPROPYLENE CONSTRUCTION WITH DEEP GROOVED CHANNELS - Polypropylene construction provides a barrier against surface water while deep grooved channels allow evaporation of moisture from below the membrane.
ONE-PLY NON-WOVEN FLEECE - One-ply, non-woven fleece on the membrane’s underside minimizes the stress caused by lateral, multi-directional movement within the substrate, eliminating a common cause of cracked tiles.
BEST USED WITH STRUCTURALLY SOUND SUBFLOORS - Best used with structurally sound subfloors or concrete under tile, stone, or laminate and include under heated and unheated areas to provide full coverage for crack-isolation and waterproofing.
SIMPLE INSTALLATION - Install by simply pressing WarmWire into the channels provided, secure, and embed in a polymer modified thinset mortar before the floor covering is installed.
